City of Bath
The City of Bath, England is a World Heritage City situated 100 miles west of London and 15 miles (25 km) south-east of the nearest big city, Bristol.

The city is nourished by natural hot springs; Bath offers a unique experience with stunning architecture, great shopping and iconic attractions. Set in the rolling Somerset countryside on the southern edge of the Cotswold’s this beautiful city hosts a population of 83,992 which include people form different culture and forms. The city is situated 100 miles west of London and 15 miles (25 km) south-east of the nearest big city, Bristol.

About University

Bath Spa University is a university based in and around BathEngland. The institution was previously known as Bath College of Higher Education, and later Bath Spa University College. It gained full university status in August 2005Bath Spa University is a fantastic place to study in the beautiful city of Bath just 1.5 hours from London. The campuses are probably the most beautiful in England and students love studying here.

Bath Spa University

Bath Spa University offers pre-degree, undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in art and design, performing arts, education, humanities, business and management and many other subjects. Bath Spa University has been designated a Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), the only one in the UK for both Creativity & the Arts AND Enterprise & Employability.
Location and Campus
Bath Spa university has three campuses in and around rural Bath and has been slowly expanding over the last two years. It also has a centre in Corsham Court in Corsham, Wiltshire.
Newton Park Campus
Bath Spa University
The Newton Park campus is the largest of all three university campus located to the west of Bath near Newton St Loe. The campus is based in Newton Park in grounds designed by English landscape architect Lancelot "Capability" Brown and leased from the Duchy of Cornwall. The site has a lake, nature reserve, woodlands and arable farmlands.

Bath Spa University
Sion Hill campus renowned for its architecture is based in the residential Lansdown district of Bath it acts to be the main base for the Bath School of Art of Design. This is a all new refurbished campus which stands out to be one of the most modern in the UK.
This campus is well known for its fresh and creative atmosphere, friendly social life and community feel.

Bath Spa University
Culverhay campus is located in the Southdown area of Bath. It is situated next to Bath Community Academy (formerly Culverhay School) and was formerly the school's Humanitiesblock. The campus is the home to most of the University's Postgraduate Certificate in Education Secondary and Middle Years Education courses, including History, Music,English, Geography, Mathematics and Religious Education. Facilities at the campus are not as extensive as those found in Newton Park but there are IT facilities and a common room.


Accommodation
As far Student accommodation is concerned there are rooms in halls of residence available on, or near each campus, details of which can be found on "The Student Housing Service".
University accommodation is not guaranteed to all first-year students and the allocation of rooms is based on criteria including whether Bath Spa was the first choice university and whether the student's home is more than 30 miles away.

Sports Activity
The university has a number of sports clubs, including hockey, football, rugby, equestrian, board sports, netball, kick boxing and salsa. Students can take part in these sports clubs, but also most have teams in the BUSA leagues.

The University has opened a new gym, situated upstairs in the Student Union building at Newton Park Campus. The gym runs fitness classes throughout the academic year.
